Graphics tablet and webcam don't have any problems.Doesn't matter whether it's the same USB port or another. Mouse and keyboard stop working once they are unplugged and then plugged back in.

So, I did a few experiments over the last few days:Īs mentioned above, mouse and keyboard usually are connected to the PC via a USB hub, but the following results are, so far, the same for using the hub or plugging them directly into the computer. It is, in fact, a desktop! My wife and I both use our work laptops, too, and so we have a USB hub to quickly move over the mouse and keyboard from the desktop PC to the laptops. Some more random thoughts: Is this a laptop or desktop? I assume a laptop, but if it's a desktop, why would you unplug the keyboard and mouse?
